An enjoyable day trip through the Seeland region to Bern – with a delicious Treberwurst meal and a cozy finale.
We start in the morning and drive via Solothurn, Biel, and Twann to Erlach. There we receive a warm welcome at the historic Rebgut Hasenlauf community cellar. The stylish restaurant offers comfortable chairs and tables (no fixed benches) and invites you to linger. There we will enjoy Treberwurst – juicy sausages that are traditionally cooked in warm wine marc. This gentle preparation allows the meat to absorb the delicate aromas, giving it its distinctive flavor. Served with creamy potato gratin and accompanied by a glass of regional wine, it is a hearty culinary experience that fits perfectly into the wine region of Lake Biel. In the afternoon, the journey takes us on a varied route to Bern, where we stop for a leisurely drink at the Brasserie Bärengraben. We drive back across country towards Olten, where we arrive at around 6 p.m.
