Founding of "Edelweiss-Express" by Franz Born (1897-1983) with headquarters at Unterführungsstrasse 30 in Olten. Purchase of the first Ford brand coach.
1937
Occupation of the coach hall and workshop at Neuhardstrasse Olten.
1938
Purchase of a second International brand coach. During the war years, Franz Born managed to survive by removing the seats from his coaches and transporting food for USEGO.
1955
Heinz Born (1933-2008) marks the entry of the second generation into the company, and services in the coach sector are expanded simultaneously with the launch of the first international holiday program.
1958
Born Reisen purchases the first SETRA coach – a brand to which Born Reisen remained loyal for 50 years. In the following years, there was a change in legal form to Born Reisen.
1966
Acquisition of the company Lässer, -Zofingen by Heinz Born. This enabled the company to establish a second location.
1966
Construction and relocation to the coach hall at Haslistrasse 51 in Olten.
1983
Takeover of the company Born-Reisen by Heinz Born.
1984
Gabi Born enters the company as the 3rd generation.
1994
Born Reisen purchases the first wheelchair bus of the brand SETRA.

Business takeover by Gabi Born and conversion into a joint-stock company.

Occupation of the new office at Aarauerstrasse 114 in Olten.
2009
Samuel and Gina Born join the company as the 4th generation.
2011
A third location is opened on Laurenzenvorstadt in Aarau.
2012
Purchase of a modern bicycle trailer for up to 40 bicycles.
2013
Purchase of a VDL special bus with wheelchair lift; this bus can accommodate up to 14 wheelchairs.
2014
Purchase of a new car wash system from the brand Christ. Founding of the company Born Bestattungen in Olten.
2015
The bus depot at Haslistrasse 51 in Olten is renovated, and the clearance is increased to 4 meters. Born Reisen acquires a Neoplan Skyliner with 71 seats from the company Heggli Reisen in Kriens.
2018
Expansion of the coach fleet with a Setra S 511 HD specially designed for holiday trips with small travel groups.
2019
The fleet is expanded with two double-decker VDL Futura FDD2 coaches with 72 and 80 seats.
