Excursion to the Schnuggebock

Experience an entertaining “school day in the 4th grade” in the historic Tintelompe – almost like in grandmother's day. The humorous and tongue-in-cheek teaching, in which inkwells can sometimes be mistaken for Alpenbitter, ensures laughter and a good mood. During the breaks, delicious treats help to boost concentration and lift the spirits. Who will be the class favorite and get sweets instead of a spanking?

Time seems to have stood still at the Schnuggebock: the cozy rooms, furnished with great attention to detail, invite you to linger everywhere – be it in the parlor, the stable or the maid's room. Here, genuine Appenzell hospitality is lived, with regional delicacies such as cheese from our own production and crispy bread. A day to enjoy, laugh and unwind!
