Three exciting days in the Engadin: we enjoy the magnificent mountains around Celerina, wonderful panoramic views and an impressive journey over the Stelvio Pass.
Look forward to three exciting days surrounded by spectacular mountain scenery. We discover the Engadin, enjoy magnificent views from high-altitude viewpoints and experience one of the Alps' most impressive mountain roads on our journey over the Stelvio Pass. With two nights in Celerina, we have plenty of time to discover some of the region's most beautiful highlights.
We travel from the Olten region via Lake Walen and Lenzerheide into the Engadin. Crossing the Julier Pass, we reach St. Moritz, where the funicular takes us up to Corviglia at 2,486 metres above sea level.
At the top, we enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding mountains and have time for a late lunch break. Those who wish can also make their way back down into the valley on foot. Afterwards, we continue to Celerina, where we check into our *** hotel and enjoy dinner together.
After breakfast, we travel over the Bernina Pass to Poschiavo and continue through the Valtellina Valley to Bormio. Here, we begin our spectacular journey over the Stelvio Pass, reaching an altitude of 2,758 metres above sea level.
The winding mountain road takes us through impressive high-Alpine scenery to the top of the pass, where lunch awaits us. Afterwards, we descend into the Vinschgau Valley and travel via Glurns and the Ofen Pass back to the Engadin. In the evening, we return to Celerina.
After breakfast, we take the opportunity to discover Celerina on a leisurely walk. We then travel to Pontresina and take the funicular up to Muottas Muragl at 2,454 metres above sea level.
From here, we enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramic views over the Engadin and its magnificent mountain scenery. Afterwards, we begin our journey home via the Flüela Pass to Davos and Landquart. Passing Lake Walen, we finally return to the Olten region.
