Itinerary

Experience an unforgettable autumn day full of scenic highlights: Our journey takes us along varied routes to the wild and romantic Isenthal – a picture-perfect mountain village in the canton of Uri.

What to expect
After a leisurely journey, we start our excursion in Seelisberg, where a coffee break awaits us in the cozy Restaurant Bahnhöfli. Then the nostalgic Treib-Seelisberg-Bahn takes us down to Lake Lucerne. There we board a steamboat* and enjoy the impressive trip past the historic Rütli, the dreamy village of Bauen, and on to Isleten.

Here, a special bus from Auto AG Uri is already waiting to take us along the spectacular mountain road to the remote Isenthal. We will be treated to a delicious lunch at the Restaurant Urirotstock. Afterwards, we will discover the picturesque village on a guided tour, including the traditional wooden cross cemetery.

Finally, the bus will take us back to Isleten, where our Born Car will be waiting for us. Together, we will return to the Olten region with many wonderful impressions.

• 10:30–10:45 a.m. Mountain railway ride to Treib
• 11:02–11:44 a.m. Boat trip to Isleten
• 11:44–11:55 a.m. Bus ride to the mountain village of Isenthal
• 12:00–3:50 p.m. Lunch & village tour
• 3:53–4:04 p.m. Return trip to Isleten
• From 4:15 p.m. Return trip with the Born Car
• Approx. 6:30 p.m. Return to the Olten region

*Note: If, for operational reasons, a motorboat is used instead of a steamboat, there will be no reduction in price.
