Itinerary
Day 1: Sparkling Crystal Worlds and Innsbruck's Old Town
In the morning, we travel towards Tyrol. Our first destination is the famous Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens. This unique attraction captivates with sparkling Chambers of Wonder, impressive art installations and an extensive garden full of surprising discoveries. There is plenty of free time during our visit for an individual lunch.
Afterwards, we continue to Innsbruck and check into our rooms at Hotel Grauer Bär. During a guided tour of the old town, we discover the historic streets, magnificent façades and most important sights of the Tyrolean capital. The evening is free for you to enjoy as you wish.
Day 2: Mountain Experience on the Nordkette and Tyrolean Traditions
After breakfast, an impressive mountain experience awaits us. The Nordkette cable car takes us high above Innsbruck into the Alpine landscape, where we enjoy fantastic views over the city and the surrounding peaks.
At the top, there is time to take in the magnificent mountain scenery and enjoy the fresh Tyrolean mountain air. Afterwards, there is time for an individual lunch.
We then visit the famous Court Church, one of Innsbruck's most important sights, renowned for its fascinating history and impressive bronze statues. In the evening, we experience authentic Tyrolean culture at a traditional Tyrolean evening with music, dancing, Schuhplattler folk dancing and yodelling.
Day 3: The Art of Bell Founding and Journey Home
Today, it is already time to say goodbye to Innsbruck. Before beginning our journey home, we visit the traditional Grassmayr Bell Museum. During an interesting guided tour, we learn about the centuries-old art of bell founding and discover a family business whose bells are appreciated around the world.
We then begin our return journey towards Switzerland. Along the way, we stop for lunch together and enjoy some final moments in good company. In the evening, we arrive back in the Olten region with many wonderful memories of varied days filled with mountain scenery, culture and Tyrolean hospitality.
