Itinerary

Crystal-clear water, Mediterranean fishing villages and a pinch of Croatian lifestyle – together we will discover the most beautiful islands in Kvarner Bay! Look forward to relaxing days surrounded by nature, culture and culinary delights. Old towns with Venetian flair, secluded bays and fragrant macchia make this trip a Mediterranean experience. Be inspired by fantastic views and a genuine island feeling!

Day 1: Arrival on the island of Krk

We start early in Switzerland and travel through Italy and Slovenia to Croatia. We cross the impressive Krk Bridge to reach the “Golden Island.” We feel the special atmosphere as soon as we arrive: the sparkling sea, Mediterranean landscape, and first rays of sunshine set the mood for the days ahead. After checking into the Hotel Malinska, we enjoy dinner together.

Day 2: Tour of the island of Krk

Today, we discover the diversity of the island of Krk with our tour guide. We visit picturesque fishing villages such as Vrbnik, stroll through the historic old town of Krk, and admire the beautiful coastal landscape. The narrow streets and old city walls of Krk Town are particularly impressive. We enjoy lunch in a beautifully located restaurant – those who wish can choose the fish menu. In Vrbnik, a wine tasting with regional specialties awaits us. A day full of culture, nature, and enjoyment! Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Island of Rab – the city of four towers

After breakfast, we drive across the mainland and take the ferry to the island of Rab. On a guided tour, we discover the town of Rab with its four striking bell towers and Venetian atmosphere. We stroll through medieval alleys, past churches and palaces. In a beautiful spot, we treat ourselves to an aperitif and soak up the Mediterranean lifestyle. Of course, we also try the famous Rab cake – a sweet treat with a long tradition. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Relax and unwind in Malinska

Today is a free day. Malinska invites you to relax: the long promenade, small harbors, numerous cafés and restaurants, and many beautiful bays with crystal-clear water await us. We enjoy a day at the beach, take a boat trip – maybe we'll even spot some dolphins – or explore the coast on foot during a coastal hike. Malinska has something for everyone. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: Islands of Cres and Losinj

We take the ferry to Cres – an island full of unspoiled nature and secluded bays. We visit the old town of Cres with its Venetian houses and narrow streets. Then we continue to Mali Lošinj, which delights visitors with its lively harbor and colorful house facades. Lunch in a beautiful konoba. On the way back, we take in the fantastic views of the island world once again. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 6: Journey home

With many wonderful impressions in our luggage, we say goodbye to the enchanting islands of Croatia. The journey home also offers variety and time to reflect on what we have experienced.

Our hotel:

The Hotel Malin**** is surrounded by lush greenery and yet only a few minutes' walk from the center of Malinska. The pebble beach with bathing platforms, approx. 100 m away, can be reached via a short footpath (partly stairs). The comfortable rooms are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, safe, and air conditioning. Wi-Fi is available free of charge. Regional and national dishes are served in the hotel's restaurant. There are also 2 bars available to guests.
