Pure nostalgia - flea market in Belfort with over 150 exhibitors

Itinerary

Immerse yourself in times gone by with a varied day trip to eastern France. In the morning, visit the famous flea market in Belfort, and in the afternoon, discover the magnificent gardens and industrial heritage of the Parc de Wesserling.

What to expect:
Our first stop is Belfort, where one of eastern France's largest flea markets takes place every first Sunday of the month, with around 150 exhibitors. Whether you're looking for nostalgic collectibles, genuine finds, or simply want to soak up the colorful market atmosphere, there's something for everyone to browse, marvel at, or take home.

With a bit of luck, we will be able to enjoy a free concert of baroque vocal music in the town hall between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Culinary specialties in the market hall will provide refreshments. Those who wish can take a tour on the Petit Train or visit the historic citadel.

In the afternoon, the journey continues to the Parc de Wesserling in Husseren. The extensive grounds (42 hectares) surrounding a former textile factory offer a unique blend of nature, history, and recreation:

Themed gardens from Mediterranean to English
A barefoot path & oases of calm
Historic buildings & textile museum
Opportunity to stop for refreshments in the restaurant or crêperie
A place that invites you to linger, stroll and marvel.
