This year's hiking day takes us to the border triangle in the “Petit Camargue Alsacienne” nature reserve. We will enjoy a wonderful hike and refuel along the way with a delicious lunch.
Itinerary
Our trip begins with a drive to Basel. We will walk across the Three Countries Footbridge to France, where we will be welcomed with coffee and croissants before our hike. Along the Canal de Huningue, we will reach the Petit Camargue Alsacienne nature reserve. After a delicious lunch (let yourself be surprised), our hike will continue through the nature reserve. Many biogeographical features and biospheres intersect here. They form a mosaic of different habitats that are home to numerous animal and plant species. Before the return journey, we will treat ourselves to another coffee or perhaps a cool ice cream in a beautiful spot.
