Itinerary

Look forward to a varied short break in Milan! We combine the Italian lifestyle, impressive architecture and plenty of shopping on this special short trip. Discover Milan's fascinating city centre, stroll through one of the world's most famous shopping arcades and experience a very special shopping paradise on the second day.

Day 1 – Journey to Milan & Italian Lifestyle

We travel to Milan and, depending on traffic conditions, arrive around midday at the centrally located ****Leonardo Hotel Milan City Center. Check-in is available from 4.00 pm, but luggage can be left at the hotel beforehand.

The hotel is located in Chinatown, just a five-minute walk from Monumentale metro station and around 300 metres from the nearest tram stop. In around 15 minutes, you can travel directly to Milan Cathedral and the magnificent Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the world's most beautiful shopping arcades.

Enjoy shopping in Milan and, in the evening, why not round off the day with a plate of pasta in the old harbour district.

Day 2 – Shopping at IL CENTRO in Arese

After breakfast, we leave at 9.00 am for our shopping day at the huge IL CENTRO shopping centre in Arese. Covering 92,000 m², it is the largest shopping centre in Italy and one of the largest in Europe.

We spend the day here with plenty of time to explore the extensive range of shops. In the afternoon, we begin our return journey to Switzerland.

4-Star Leonardo Hotel Milan

For our two-day shopping trip, we stay at the Leonardo Hotel Milan City Center. Comfortable rooms with free Wi-Fi await you just a five-minute walk from Monumentale metro station.

Enjoy Milan's vibrant shopping scene, while the relaxing Sempione Park and trendy Corso Como shopping district are only around a ten-minute walk away. Milan Cathedral can be reached by tram in around 20 minutes.
