We travel through Appenzellerland into Vorarlberg and enjoy a lunch break in Brandnertal. In the afternoon, we explore Vaduz with all its charm on the "City Train".
Itinerary
Our excursion takes us towards eastern Switzerland to Gossau for a coffee stop. We then travel through rural Appenzellerland past Appenzell via Stoss to Altstätten. We soon cross the border into Austria and in Bludenz we turn off into the idyllic Brandnertal valley. We have ordered lunch at a cosy inn. There is enough time for a walk through Brand and its marvellous mountain world. In the afternoon we head into the "Ländle". In Vaduz, we explore the sights on the "City Train" and then treat ourselves to a coffee or how about a glass of wine from the princely wine cellar? The return journey follows Lake Walen and Lake Zurich back to Aarau and Olten.
