Our journey to the north begins with a direct trip to Travemünde. In the evening, we check into our cabins on a modern Finnlines ship. The anticipation grows – the northern adventure can begin.
Today we let our souls unwind. On board, we enjoy Scandinavian specialties from the buffet, relax in the sauna with sea views or in the whirlpool. The sun deck, café, and bar invite us to get to know each other and linger. A day full of peace, enjoyment, and anticipation of what is to come.
After arriving in Helsinki, we discover the capital on a two-hour city tour. Afterwards, there is time for lunch on your own. Our journey continues through dense forests, past sparkling lakes and small villages – a first impression of Finland's quiet beauty.

Today we cross the border into Norway. In Karasjok, we visit the Sámi Parliament and experience the culture of Norway's indigenous people. We continue along the Porsangerfjord to Honningsvåg. In the evening, we reach the North Cape – the northernmost point in Europe – and enjoy dinner with a view of the Arctic Ocean.
We leave the far north and drive south via Alta, the city of the northern lights. The coastal landscape around the Lyngenfjord impresses with its wild beauty. Two ferry crossings take us to Tromsø – the gateway to the Arctic Ocean.
In the morning, we discover Tromsø on a guided tour of the city, including a visit to the famous Arctic Cathedral. We then drive through fjord landscapes and tunnels to Nordkjosbotn, where we enjoy a lunch break with a view of the Balsfjord. In the afternoon, we reach Harstad with its maritime flair.
We drive through the spectacular landscape of the Lofoten Islands to Svolvær. In the afternoon, we embark on the Silent Trollfjord Cruise – a silent boat trip through the narrow, dramatic Trollfjord. With a little luck, we will see sea eagles. After returning, there will be time for a walk through Svolvær.
Today, we explore the Lofoten Islands with a tour guide. We visit the Viking museum “Lofotr” and discover picturesque fishing villages. The Lofoten Islands show themselves from their most beautiful side – wild, steeped in history, and full of Nordic magic.
We leave Svolvær and drive along the Lofoten Road to Moskenes. The drive offers spectacular views of mountains and fjords once again. In Moskenes, we board the ferry to Bodø – a relaxed transition from island adventure back to the mainland.
Today we drive south along the Norwegian coast. The landscape is varied and peaceful – ideal for relaxing and marveling. In the afternoon, we reach Sandnessjøen, the gateway to the Seven Sisters archipelago.
We leave the Helgeland coast and drive through one of the most beautiful regions of Norway. The journey takes us past fjords, mountains, and historic sites. In the afternoon, we reach Trondheim – once the capital of Norway and now a lively city full of history and culture.
In the morning, we discover Trondheim on a guided tour of the city. Afterwards, we drive through Gudbrandsdal, past green valleys and charming villages. In the afternoon, we reach Lillehammer – famous for the Winter Olympics and full of alpine flair.
In the morning, we visit the Maihaugen open-air museum – a lively insight into Norwegian history. Around noon, we continue on to Oslo. The capital city on the Oslo Fjord welcomes us with culture, architecture, and joie de vivre. There will be time for your own discoveries.
In the morning, we will experience Oslo on a guided city tour. We will see the Royal Palace, the Opera House, and Vigeland Park. At 2:00 p.m., we board the ferry to Kiel. The return journey begins – with a view of the Oslo Fjord and many wonderful memories.
After arriving in Kiel, we begin our journey home. In the evening, we reach Switzerland, where our trip together ends. In our luggage: unforgettable impressions from the far north.
