Itinerary
Together we will discover the beauty of two unique regions: the traditional SalzburgerLand and the picturesque Salzkammergut. Between majestic mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and historic towns, four varied days full of relaxation, discoveries, and culinary delights await us. We will be enchanted by the warmth of the people and the diversity of the landscape – and collect memories that will last a lifetime.
Day 1: Arrival in the Salzburg region
Our journey begins with a drive to Feldkirch and over the Arlberg Pass to the Innsbruck area, where we will have lunch. Refreshed, we continue our journey, passing Wörgl, St. Johann, Leogang, and Bischofshofen before reaching our destination, Abtenau. We check into our rooms at the ****Hotel Moisl and round off the day with a fine dinner. The cozy atmosphere of the hotel puts us in the right mood for the days ahead.
Day 2: Experience and enjoy Salzburg
Today we immerse ourselves in the baroque splendor of the city of Salzburg. On a guided city walk, we discover the cathedral, St. Peter's Abbey, the Residenz, the fortress, Mozart's birthplace, the festival halls, and much more. After the tour, we have time for lunch on our own in one of the charming restaurants. The afternoon is free to spend as you wish – whether visiting museums or strolling through the Getreidegasse and Linzer Gasse. In the late afternoon, we return to the hotel, where another delicious dinner awaits us.
Day 3: Salzkammergut with Wolfgangsee boat trip
Those who wish can start the day with a visit to the hotel's indoor swimming pool. Afterwards, our excursion into the magnificent nature of the Salzkammergut begins. Together with our tour guide, we will discover the 5-lake region with the Wolfgangsee, St. Wolfgang, Strobl, the Mondsee and the Attersee. At lunchtime, we will enjoy a hearty snack in a mountain inn. In the afternoon, we will relax on a boat trip on Lake Wolfgang and visit the historic Rauchhaus in Mondsee. Back at the hotel, another delicious dinner awaits us.
Day 4: Return journey with lunch in Munich
With many wonderful impressions in our luggage, we begin our journey home. On the way, we stop for a coffee break at Lake Chiemsee and continue on to the “Bavarian capital” of Munich. There we will enjoy a typical Bavarian lunch in a beer garden. Afterwards, we will return to Olten via the Allgäu and Lake Constance – filled with memories of a thoroughly enjoyable trip.

The ****Hotel Moisl in Abtenau offers elegant rooms with a separate seating area and balcony. The spa and wellness area invites you to relax. In the morning, a rich breakfast buffet awaits us, and in the evening, the kitchen brigade spoils us with a 4-course menu as well as a salad and cheese board. We ended the day relaxing in the hotel bar.
