Itinerary
Todaywe're heading south. After a short coffee break in Airolo, we reach Ascona before midday. This picturesque town is a pearl on Lake Maggiore. The lakeside promenade with its brightly painted houses, cafés and restaurants make Ascona a unique gem. The former fishing village with its Mediterranean ambience invites you to stroll and enjoy. The old town of Ascona is also worth a visit. The Grotto serves a multi-course lunch. The motto at the grotto is: eat what the "chef" has freshly cooked. Afterwards, there is plenty of time for a walk or an espresso by the lake. Return on the direct route to the Olten region.
