Itinerary

Today we are heading south. After a short coffee break in Airolo, we will reach Ascona before lunch. This picturesque place is a pearl on Lake Maggiore. The lake promenade, with its colorfully painted houses, which house cafés and restaurants, make Ascona a unique gem. The former fishing village with its Mediterranean ambience invites you to stroll and enjoy. The old town of Ascona is also worth a walk. In the grotto, there is a multi-course lunch. The motto in the grotto: you eat what the “chef” has freshly cooked. Afterwards, there is still enough time for a walk or an espresso by the lake. Return journey back to the departure points via the most direct route.
