Itinerary
Enchanting Alsace is a real tourist magnet – and for good reason! Here you can expect idyllic natural landscapes, picturesque wine villages, cozy farms, and warm hospitality. In Niedermorschwihr, we will visit the Maison Ferber owned by Christiane Ferber, also known as “la fée des confitures” (the jam fairy). How about a cup of coffee or a glass of crémant for a delightful start? Then the journey continues to the Vosges mountains to the Ferme Auberge du Treh. Here you can enjoy a hearty farmer's meal consisting of warm meat pie, salad, smoked meat, and fried potatoes – the famous “Roigebrageldi.” Münster cheese and a tempting dessert round off the lunch. On the way back, we pass the Grand Ballon and the Hartmannsweilerkopf with its moving military cemetery. Then it's back to Basel and on to the Olten region, where our eventful day comes to an end.
