School trip to the Umwelt Arena

TheUmwelt Arena Spreitenbach is the new exhibition and event platform for products and services for modern, conscious living. Over 100 companies and organizations provide information in 45 exciting exhibitions. A world of experience for energy and environmental issues - not theoretical, but something you can touch, experience and try out.

Guided tour "How does my cell phone become a raw material mine?"
Includingvarious exhibitions, pupils learn how they can make their everyday lives more environmentally friendly. The core of the tour is the product life cycle. The aim is to raise awareness that our consumption has a major impact on the environment and that we can minimize this impact by influencing the production (labels), use (electricity consumption, durable products) and disposal (recycling) of a product. Electricity consumption, which is a central element in all sections, is also addressed.

Forschool classes there are very inexpensive offers in the Klima restaurant which can be used by groups of 10 or more.

Time required: In addition to the guided tour (duration 1 hour), we recommend allowing additional time (1-3 hours) for a free visit. The 45 interactive exhibitions are available to you before or after the tour.
